Union of Hellenic Chambers
The Union of Hellenic Chambers is essentially a network of Chambers that covers all enterprises in Greece. Due to its national capacity and its status as an independent organisation, the Union has become a very important contributor to the development of Greek companies. In addition to aiding in the development of Greek companies, the Union is very active in an advisory capacity to various government authorities.
Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the most active of all the Chambers in Greece. With more than 100,000 members, the ACCI is represented in most sectors of the Greek economy, and it has proven over the years to be a very influential body in business circles. Companies from all regions of Greece are registered with the ACCI because of its far-reaching and constantly expanding network of affiliated companies, thus making the ACCI the premier Chamber of Commerce in Greece.
Technical Chamber of Greece
The Technical Chamber of Greece deals specifically with companies in the engineering sector. All engineers in Greece are required to become members to the Chamber in order to get licensed. Furthermore, the Technical Chamber serves as the most important consultant to government authorities as it pertains to any scientific matter.
Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce and Industry is Greece's second largest chamber. The TCCI is the leading commercial authority in the Northern regions of Greece, where a large percentage of Greek exporters are located. Included in the chamber's activities are international relations, with the TCCI not only being a consultant to domestic and foreign authorities, but also organizing events with foreign chambers in order to facilitate the promotion of Greek products abroad.
Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry ensures that business development in Piraeus is constantly occurring. The PCCI organizes many events, both domestic and international, to ensure that businesses are not only well informed, but also in compliance with a variety of international legal statutes. As a result of this constant activity, the PCCI frequently provides input to national committees regarding the regional development of Piraeus.
National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce
The National Confederation of Hellenic Commerce is a very important fixture in the Greek business community, especially because it is the official Organisation in Greece that is affiliated with Euro-Med TDS. This affiliation ensures that the Confederation is very influential in both domestic and foreign commercial circles, while concurrently making it one of the key organisations in the promotion of Greek products in foreign markets.
